Meet Cathy

"Being a nurse and helping people is not only my calling it is my passion. For over 30 years I have dedicated myself to helping people to live their best life."

Psychiatric nurse practitioners fill the need in the nation's mental health care system for a biopsychosocial approach to managing the care of individual's diagnosed with psychiatric disorders. Combined treatment of psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, and psychosocial interventions have been found to be an effective approach in treating individuals. Building a trusting relationship, respecting patients as individuals, providing for patient safety, and promoting patients' biopsychosocial health and patient self-care are the concerns of a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
